LIGHTS DOWN LOW
We’ve been
battered by inflation
Hammered by
price increments.
Chronic
vehicular traffic
And incessant
haggling
Have made our
spirits fatigued.
The mornings
are disheartening
The
afternoons are scorching.
Our pockets
are shallow
Yet with
burrow.
Our days
prolong
Like gowns so
long.
Yet at night
our spirits must make jolly.
Let’s fight
the cold together.
Let’s
distress our worn out souls in unison.
Let’s
unburden our minds with mutual warmth.
Let’s tickle
our eardrums with chilly whispers.
Let’s ejaculate
beats from heart to heart.
Let our tired
lips kiss in relaxation.
Let’s turn
our lights down low tonight
While we
massage our weary spirits to rest.
