BECAUSE YOU
LOVED ME
My mornings
are a lactating mother’s milk
So soothing
and cozy.
My heart beats
in series and sequence.
Life is a bed
of Asian roses and Kashmir velvets
A day is
simply not enough
An hour
flashes like a blink
Rays of smiles
perpetually hijack my face
My thought is
your habitat
Like the
baobab that remains unperturbed
Amidst rains
and harmattan,
And the Lemon
Queen sunflower
That
persistently remains vibrant incessantly,
So have I
become a tree by the riverside.
My heart knows
no pains
My lips show
more gains
My deserts
gain more rains
My thoughts
rid all stains
Just because
you loved me
